Rocky Mountain:
Trail Journal

Client Overview:

Rocky Mountain is an award-winning bicycle brand with deep roots in the legendary North Shore mountains of Vancouver, British Columbia—one of the most rugged and diverse mountain biking terrains in the world. Since its founding in 1981, Rocky Mountain has been at the forefront of high-performance mountain bike innovation, testing its designs right in its own backyard—one of the sport’s most demanding and celebrated proving grounds.

Driven by a passion for exploration and engineering excellence, Rocky Mountain continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible on two wheels.

Project Overview:

The Trail Journal was a special edition print project created to commemorate Rocky Mountain’s 35th anniversary. Designed as a premium collectible, it showcased the brand’s rich heritage, featuring a curated collection of its most iconic stories, breathtaking imagery, legendary bikes, and the people who shaped its legacy.

As Art Director, I led the design, layout, and production of the magazine, ensuring a visually compelling and cohesive storytelling experience. It was produced in both English and French, reflecting the brand’s deep connection to riders across North America and beyond.

This project celebrated Rocky Mountain’s legacy of innovation and adventure, creating a lasting tribute to its impact on the sport.
